CHURCH STREET FROM HUGHEY AVENUE TO GARLAND AVENUE IS CLOSING NIGHTLY AS SOON AS LATE AUGUST 2016
The Florida Department of Transportation is temporarily closing Church Street under I-4 at night. The four-week closure is scheduled to begin as soon as late August. The closure may occur any night as soon as 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The closure will not occur on Friday nights, any time on Saturday or during the day on Sundays. The closure is necessary for bridge work. Access for pedestrians along Church Street from Hughey Avenue to Garland Avenue will be closed during these road closure times. Pedestrians may cross under I-4 at Pine Street or South Street.

Beginning in mid-May, the eastbound I-4 exit ramp to South Street is scheduled to close nightly. The four-week closure is each night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure will not occur on Friday nights, any time Saturday or during the day on Sundays. The closure is necessary for bridge work. The detour for this nightly closure is to exit sooner on eastbound I-4 at Kaley Avenue (Exit 81BC).
