The Florida Department of Transportation is temporarily closing two lanes on westbound and eastbound I-4 between Maitland Boulevard (State Road 414) and Ivanhoe Boulevard nightly for one month.
The nightly double lane closure will happen through October 1. Each lane will have a separate start and end time.:
- On westbound I-4, one lane will close nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and the other will close from midnight to 5:30 a.m.
- On eastbound I-4, one lane will close nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., while the other will close 12:30 a.m. to 6 a.m.
These closures are necessary for roadway operations. Work will include the use of work zone lighting and noise and vibration is anticipated at night during these times.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may be necessary because of weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
