The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is temporarily closing eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between Maitland Boulevard (State Road 414) and State Road (S.R.) 436 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday, April 7.

The eastbound I-4 entrance ramps from westbound and eastbound Maitland Boulevard and the eastbound I-4 exit ramp to S.R. 436 will be closed at the same time. The closures require I-4 motorists to detour off the interstate for safety while crews install an overhead sign.

Drivers traveling on eastbound I-4 toward S.R. 436 will be detoured to westbound Maitland Boulevard and will then take S.R. 434 to S.R. 436, where they will re-enter eastbound I-4. Detour signs will be posted.

Please view or download this handout for more information about the closure and detours.
