A traffic pacing operation is scheduled to occur between midnight and 5 a.m. the morning of Saturday, November 21, on eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) from Florida’s Turnpike to Kaley Avenue.

During the operation, eastbound I-4 entrance ramps between these limits will be temporarily blocked by law enforcement officers to ensure no vehicles jump ahead of the traffic pacing operation.

The temporarily closed ramps will include: Florida’s Turnpike, eastbound and westbound Conroy Road, John Young Parkway, and Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441/17-92).

As the pace car passes each interchange, the corresponding entrance ramp onto eastbound I-4 will be reopened to allow motorists to enter and join the slow roll. The traffic pacing operation and temporary ramp closures will create a 30-minute window for crews to install an overhead sign truss.

Please view or download this handout detailing the traffic pacing operation and ramp closures.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone and follow @I4Ultimate on Twitter or visit I4Ultimate.com for construction updates throughout the corridor.
