FDOT’s vision for managed lanes is proving to be a success in many parts of Florida.

Managed lanes, or Express Lanes, are becoming increasingly attractive options for managing congestion, adding capacity to limited-access roads and providing choices to drivers. FDOT is partnering with government agencies across the state to find ways to offer Florida drivers new and reliable mobility choices for a connected Express Lanes system in a consistent, predictable and repeatable (CPR) manner.
