The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing Formosa Avenue under Interstate 4 (I-4) for two weeks. The closure will begin as soon as 8 a.m. Monday, October 12, and is scheduled to reopen by 8 a.m. Monday, October 26. The closure is necessary for crews to safely continue bridge work.

For this closure, motorists will be detoured to Clay Street. Please view or download a handout detailing the closures and their detours here.

Work will include the use of work zone lighting, and noise and vibration are anticipated at night during these times.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may be necessary because of weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
