The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is temporarily closing two lanes nightly on Interstate 4 (I-4) over Boat Pass on the north side of Lake Ivanhoe for bridge work. Beginning Sunday, August 23 through Tuesday, August 25, one westbound I-4 lane will close at 8:30 p.m. and a second will be closed at 10 p.m. Both lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning.

On Wednesday, August 26, the double closure will switch to the eastbound lanes for one night.

Motorists should expect delays when traveling through this area during the period of the closure.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may be necessary because of weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
