The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is temporarily closing Ivanhoe Boulevard under Interstate 4 (I-4) to continue bridge work. The continuous closure will begin as soon as 10 p.m. Friday, July 31, and is expected to end by 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3.
The eastbound and westbound I-4 ramps at this interchange will remain open during these closures.
Motorists will be detoured to Colonial Drive (State Road 50) and Edgewater Drive. Please view this handout for more details.
Residents in this area can expect loud noises, back up alarms for safety, and bright lights at night during these operations.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may be necessary because of weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
