WESTBOUND I-4 EXIT RAMPS TO EASTBOUND (81B) AND WESTBOUND (81C) KALEY AVENUE ARE CLOSING PERMANENTLY
Closure of these exit ramps is expected to occur on Tuesday, December 1, at 10 p.m. A detour is in place to reach eastbound and westbound Kaley Avenue from westbound I-4.
DETOUR
- Exit westbound I-4 at Michigan Street (81A)
- Turn right on Michigan Street
- Turn right on South Orange Blossom Trail
- Turn right on Kaley Avenue

WHY DO THE WESTBOUND I-4 EXIT RAMPS TO KALEY AVENUE NEED TO CLOSE?
As part of the I-4 Ultimate improvement project, the westbound I-4 exit ramps to eastbound (81B) and westbound (81C) Kaley Avenue are being eliminated. Closure of these exit ramps is expected to occur on Tuesday, December 1, at 10 p.m.
The I-4 Ultimate project is easing traffic congestion at the I-4 interchanges of Michigan Street and Kaley Avenue by eliminating traffic weaving patterns between the interchanges’ exit and entrance ramps. The project combines the two interchanges with braided ramps, frontage roads and freeflowing Texas U-turns to improve safety and enhance mobility.
