As the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) prepares to shift the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) lanes through Winter Park, multiple ramps will be closing. The westbound I-4 entrance ramps from Fairbanks Avenue and Par Street are scheduled to close nightly between 9 p.m. June 23 and 6 a.m. June 24. In addition, the I-4 westbound exit ramp to Fairbanks Avenue, which closed approximately three weeks ago to accelerate work in the area, is scheduled to reopen by 7 a.m. June 26.
The ramp closures are necessary to facilitate the westbound I-4 traffic shift. Lane closures on westbound I-4 from Wymore Road to Princeton Street also will be necessary. Please see detour maps below.
