Eastbound I-4 Exit Ramp to Northbound Kirkman Road Shifting to Temporary Location
A temporary configuration of eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) Exit 75B is scheduled to open by the morning of Thursday, October 18.
The temporary ramp will require motorists to exit on the left side of eastbound I-4 to Grand National Drive. The current eastbound I-4 exit ramp to northbound Kirkman Road (State Road 435) is closing to construct a new exit ramp.
A new traffic signal on Grand National Drive will control traffic movements from the temporary eastbound I-4 exit. To access northbound Kirkman Road, motorist can turn left onto Grand National Drive from the temporary exit ramp and the turn left onto Major Boulevard to reach Kirkman Road.
When the I-4 Ultimate project is completed in 2021, the ramps at the Grand National Drive overpass will provide direct connection to I-4 Express Lanes. The newly constructed eastbound I-4 exit ramp to northbound Kirkman Road is scheduled to reopen in spring 2019.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
