The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing Lee Road under Interstate 4 (I-4) nightly from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2.
This temporary closure will begin as early as 9 p.m. each night and is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. the following mornings. The closure is necessary for bridge work.
For this closure, motorists west of I-4 will travel southbound from Lee Road on Edgewater Drive, turn left onto Fairbanks Avenue, and left again onto Orlando Avenue (U.S. 17-92), then proceed back to Lee Road. Motorists east of the closure will travel southbound from Lee Road on Orlando Avenue, turn right onto Fairbanks Avenue, right onto Edgewater Drive, then continue back to Lee Road.
