The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will temporarily close the northbound section of Ivanhoe Boulevard near Interstate 4 (I-4) as soon as Thursday, June 17. The continuous closure will be in place until mid-July.
Noise and dust are anticipated during construction, and intermittent overnight work will include the use of work zone lighting.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete improvements to Ivanhoe Boulevard under I-4. The planned enhancements will create two left turn lanes on westbound Ivanhoe Boulevard to westbound I-4, improving traffic flow. New sidewalks, bicycle lanes, curbs, and islands will be added. Landscaping is anticipated to be installed during the summer of 2021.
Please view, download, and share this handout for more information about the closures and improvements to come.
