The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) shifted the eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) ramp system between Orange Blossom Trail (US-441/17-92) and Kaley Avenue onto newly constructed general use lanes Friday, June 19.
The decision point of the ramp system shifted approximately 1,000 feet sooner. This is just after the ramp passes over Rio Grande Avenue. Motorists can keep right to exit to Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 80) and stay left continue to the exit to Kaley Avenue (Exit 81).
Motorists entering eastbound I-4 from northbound Orange Blossom Trail will follow the ramp system for nearly one mile and enter the interstate after crossing Michigan Street.
Please view or download a handout detailing the traffic shift.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone. Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
