The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduling a traffic pacing operation between between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday, May 2, on eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) from Beachline Expressway (State Road 528) to John Young Parkway.

During the operation, eastbound I-4 entrance ramps between these limits will be temporarily blocked by law enforcement officers. The closures includes the eastbound I-4 entrance ramps from Beachline Expressway, Sand Lake Road (S.R. 482), Universal Boulevard, Kirkman Road (S.R. 435), Florida’s Turnpike, and Conroy Road.

The traffic pacing operation and temporary ramp closures are necessary to install an overhead sign.

Please view or download a handout detailing the temporary eastbound I-4 ramp closures necessary for this operation.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
