An almost 2-mile stretch of westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between John Young Parkway and Radebaugh Way is shifting to a temporary configuration adjacent to the old roadway the morning of Friday, Jul 13. Motorists traveling through this area may anticipate lane closures as early as 10 p.m. on July 12.
The shift is necessary to make room to build the new, permanent westbound I-4 travel lanes. To stay up to date on any and all construction information, please visit fdot.tips/i4map.
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
